Welcome to the website of the VFS Visa Application Centre for Sweden in the Philippines. This site provides information on procedures applicable to all nationalities who need a Schengen visa to travel to Sweden. VFS Global is a commercial company, working as a privately-run service company, authorized by the Embassy of Sweden in Bangkok to provide the users with complete information on procedure and requirements for visa and to collect the visa applications. However, any assessment and decision on visa is taken by the Embassy only.
Important Information about the Sweden Visa Application Center in Manila
We are pleased to announce that Sweden Visa Application Center in Cebu will open once again on 03 September 2020. Submission timings will be every Thursday and Friday from 09:00 hrs - 13:00 hrs.
Your safety is our priority, so customers visiting our Visa Application Centers may be asked to observe physical distancing, undergo temperature checks or be required to wear facemasks, subject to local authority guidelines. Please note customers must have an appointment to visit the Visa Application Center.
To ensure that social distancing are being observed at the visa application center. VFS for Sweden will be implementing appointment system every Tuesday to Thursday from 9:00 am to 14:00 hrs. Applicants are encourage to wear facemasks when coming to the VAC, applicant with flue like symptoms may be refused entry to the VAC premise, VFS may not be possible to accommodate all applicants due to the current safety measures. Sweden Visa Application Centre in Cebu will remain close until further notice.

The Swedish Government has implemented extensive precautionary measures due to the Corona virus/COVID-19.
You can still apply for a visa to Sweden, however additional restrictions on entry into Sweden might be imposed in the incoming days. This, include, among other things, the possibility of medical examination on arrival and possible quarantine on arrival from high risk areas.

Please note: As of 02 February 2020 the Schengen visa fee per person (Short Stay Visa) will increase from 60 to 80 euros or the equivalent amount in your local currency. For children between 6-12 years old the visa fee will increase to 40 euros or equivalent.
