Welcome to the website for the Sweden Visa Application Centre in Pretoria. VFS Visa Processing South Africa Pty. Ltd. Is a commercial company working in partnership with the Swedish Embassy, to provide administrative services for processing of Visa applications in South Africa.
Step 2 Before you decide to apply for a visa please make sure you familiarize yourself with the information on the visa subclass you are applying for. Quick links to information on visa categories and other helpful information including Visa Fee, VFS Service Charge and Processing Time can be found on the Visa Wizard page on this website.
Step 3 Applicants should fill the Visa Application Form corresponding to the visa subclass under which they wish to lodge their application. Applicants can get the visa application form by visiting the nearest Ireland Visa Application Centre or by downloading the forms from Applications and Forms.
Owing to the ongoing global COVID-19 developments and directives announced by the Government of South Africa, our Visa Application Centres will remain closed from 26 March 2020 until 16 April 2020.
Please be advised that our Call Centre and Email support will also not be available during this period.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: Visa applications at the Embassy of Sweden in Pretoria
As from 18 March 2020 it will only be possible to apply for a Schengen Visa at VFS visa centers – not at the Embassy of Sweden in Pretoria, South Africa.
In connection with the Amendment to the Visa Code the Embassy of Sweden in Pretoria, South Africa, will not accept Schengen Visa applications at the Embassy. Visa applications can only submitted through the VFS Visa Centers in Pretoria, Durban and Cape Town (South Africa).
Exception shall however be made, according to the Directive of Free Movement, for family members of EU/EEA citizens who are advised to book an appointment by sending an mail to email@example.com.
